Description:
In the northwest corner of the atrium was a masonry podium. Around the base ran a dado of marble. On the floor around the base was a black border in the mosaic pavement, which marked out the space for the podium. This was likely a podium for an aedicula shrine. It has been dated to the last phase of the house.
