Description:
Located approximately 70m northeast of the Villa de Materno was a cult building. While often interpreted as a nymphaeum or a mausoleum, the structure of the building is very similar to other cult buildings of the time. It had a rectangular plan with an apsed end. It was erected on a raised podium but lacked an ambulatory. The building was connected to a water source. It was decorated with marble slabs and its floor was covered in mosaic.
